Joe Tatton Organ Trio w/ Lucas De Mulder
A new collaboration from the Joe Tatton Trio featuring soul-jazz guitarist Lucas De Mulder (Madrid), this is a classic sounding hammond trio record with influences such Grant Green, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Jimmy Smith, Big John Patton, Lonnie Smith and The Meters. Following a series of gigs in Spain and the U.K. the new album is due to be released in the summer on Rodina Music UK / Europe and via Color Red (USA) on vinyl and CD and will coincide with the group playing at Saint Paul Soul-Jazz festival in the south of France. Recorded at Joe’s studio in the UK which just produced the latest New Mastersounds’ record “Old School”. The album also heavily features drummer Luke Flowers (Corinne Bailey Rae, Cinematic Orchestra) and The Haggis Horns, former collaborators with Joe. Stay tuned for more information!
